“The European ICT Conference on Research and Technology Development” held in İstanbul between the dates of 29-30 January 2007 by TUBITAK, Turkey Informatics Foundation, TAGES and European Commission, have been the locus of interest of several participants from different European countries.
Networker Factory Project 06.03.2006 The Turkish Informatics Foundation (TBV), Cisco Systems, Netron Technology and Yenibir.com have joined forces in a new initiative that offers young people an opportunity to build a career in computer networking. TBV is training the trainers for the project, Cisco Systems is providing the curriculum, Netron, the training, and Yenibir.com, the employment networking opportunities. During the first year, the project aims to provide scholarships to 600 people and, on their completion of the course, direct them towards employment opportunities. Participants will repay tuition costs after they start working. In subsequent years, the project aims to extend its training opportunities to thousands of people. more...
