At this year’s second “Block Brew” gathering—organized by the Blockchain Turkey Platform (BCTR) Tax, Accounting, and Audit Working Group (VMDÇG) and held with the valuable support of Stablex—we discussed “Challenges Facing KVHS Entities in the Tax and Licensing Process.”

At our traditional gathering, which saw strong attendance, key figures in the ecosystem, along with financial and information systems managers, auditors, and legal advisors from KVHS entities, shared their valuable insights and received answers to their questions during the final segment of the meeting.

Moderated by Tayfun İÇTEN, Chair of the Tax, Accounting, and Auditing Working Group, our panel featured expert guests in their respective fields:

—thoroughly addressed “Issues Regarding the Tax and Licensing Process for Crypto Asset Custodian Institutions” from all angles.

Our meeting topic, designed to provide input and recommendations for the Working Group’s ongoing report on “Taxation of Crypto Assets,” also highlighted the need to voice and collectively assess the requirements in this field. Participants expressed the need for Crypto Asset Custody Institutions (KVHSs) to organize under the umbrella of an association or union.
