The Robotics Turkey Platform Launch Took Place!
Turkey Information Technology Foundation We introduced the Robotics Turkey Platform—which we launched under the umbrella of the Turkey Information Technology Foundation—and the “Turkey Robotics Ecosystem Report” to the public at a launch event held at Istanbul Modern!
Established with founding members such as the Eczacıbaşı Group, Milvus Robotics, Togg, Turkish Airlines, and Zorlu Holding, our platform aims to bridge the gaps between industry, academia, entrepreneurship, and the public sector to bring Turkey’s potential in the fields of physical artificial intelligence and robotics to global markets.
Highlights and Our Distinguished Speakers:
🔹Opening & Vision: TBV Board Chairman Faruk Eczacibasi conveyed the platform’s vision, stating, “Today, robots and artificial intelligence are entering every aspect of our lives. Koç University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Sitti, meanwhile, highlighted the strategic importance of physical artificial intelligence for economic and technological independence in his keynote presentation.
🔹In the report prepared under the sponsorship of Togg, Robotik Türkiye Platform Leader Cem Leon Menase presented data showing that 3,194 industrial robots were installed in Turkey in 2025, along with an ecosystem analysis; while Koç University Assistant Professor Baris Akgun answered questions from an academic perspective.
